Tricount is a clean, genuinely free way to split a holiday abroad. Splitkaro does that too, then keeps going: your own spending, your household, your card transactions, all in one ledger instead of a tab you abandon when the trip ends.
Tricount if you are settling one trip across borders and want currencies converted for nothing. Splitkaro if the group outlasts the trip: card and bank feeds file the spending, and your own money sits in the same ledger.

If you want a shared tab for one international trip, Tricount is hard to beat. If you want the same group splitting plus your own spending tracked, card transactions imported, and analytics across every group, that is what Splitkaro adds.
Currency conversion, which matters on a multi-country trip, and a completely free product with no premium tier. Tricount also imports directly from Splitwise, as Splitkaro does.
Card and bank feeds run through Plaid and are currently in beta. PDF statement import and receipt scanning are live today, so nothing has to be typed in by hand in the meantime.
Adding expenses is free and unlimited, and overall spending analytics are free too. Premium is optional and stays affordable.
Splitkaro handles the holiday, and everything after it. Free on Android and iOS.
