Splitkaro tracks your own spending too, in the same app as the group’s. Tricount only holds shared tabs, so your personal money lives somewhere else entirely.

What does Tricount do that Splitkaro does not?

Currency conversion, which matters on a multi-country trip, and a completely free product with no premium tier. Tricount also imports directly from Splitwise, as Splitkaro does.

Does Splitkaro connect to my bank?

Card and bank feeds run through Plaid and are currently in beta. PDF statement import and receipt scanning are live today, so nothing has to be typed in by hand in the meantime.

Is Splitkaro free?

Adding expenses is free and unlimited, and overall spending analytics are free too. Premium is optional and stays affordable.
