What are the benefits of a collection?
A collection helps you organise, record, and split multiple related bills in one place, with the flexibility to assemble them however suits you.
When can I use a collection?
Collections keep related expenses for a particular event together. On a trip, for example, you could make separate collections for petrol bills, tolls, and food — or one collection of everything you spent on day one.
How do I create a collection?
1. Tap the ‘+’ icon on the bottom right of the home screen and select “Create a collection”
2. Give it a name and tap “Save”
3. Add the friends involved
4. Add the details of one bill, then tap “+ New bill” to add more
5. Tap “Submit expense”
Where can I see my created collections?
You can see your collections on the “Bills” page.
How can I edit an existing collection?
Choose the collection you wish to edit, then tap the edit icon to make changes.
How is a collection different from a group?
A group is for splitting with the same set of people on a regular basis. A collection keeps related bills for a particular day or event together, and can live inside a group or outside one.
Can I enable instant settlement for a collection?
Yes.
How can I settle a collection?
A regular collection is settled like any other expense — from your friends’ or groups’ balances. An instant collection is settled individually.
How do I remove a friend from a collection?
1. Choose the collection you wish to edit
2. Tap the edit icon
3. Remove the friend from “Add friends” using the cross icon on their name
How do I delete a collection?
Choose the collection you wish to delete, then tap the bin icon.
Can I undelete a deleted collection?
Yes. Once a collection is deleted, the action shows up in the “Activity” section (the bell icon on the home page). Tap the activity and choose “Restore”.
